Goals
ItzulBaita was formed to design, carry out, promote and present projects having to do with translation in the Basque Country.
One of its primary objectives is to offer a continuous reflection on translation in general, as well as an ongoing examination of the situation of Basque translation.
Information on translation and translation resources are also available through ItzulBaita to all translators, professional or otherwise, to those who make use of translation and to anyone interested in translation.
ItzulBaita will also champion translation and work to improve its image, so that it might claim its rightful place in society as a useful and important activity.
